The Direct Support Professional provides training, guidance, assistance, and supervision to persons with developmental disabilities residing within a community residence. Assists in transfer of non-ambulatory residents to wheelchairs, shower, toilet, and other furnishing.
Minimum Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma (preferred) or GED, 18 years of age, one year experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities, physical ability to lift 50 pounds, acceptable criminal background check, a valid SC driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Schedule: Must be willing to work 2nd shift (4p-12a) and/or 3rd shift (12a-8a) Monday - Friday and 12 hours (8a-8p or 8p-8a) Saturday and Sunday.
